Excellent product, would highly recommend. My only feedback would be to please not quote 8 minutes of installation for the switch three. It took me half a day. Again, would highly recommend but 8 minutes is silly for any first timer one installer.

Honestly it’s everything i hoped it would be. Only used the trigger not the lcd so far but loving it. Easily put it on my fixie and makes hills so much easier.

I had misplaced my charger and needed a new one. I was hesitant to purchase an after market one online as it may not be the same quality build. I am glad I went with the original!

I was close to buying a $3,500 electric road bike before doing some research and discovering the E-Switch2 conversion kit. I’m so glad I did! Instead of replacing my current road bike (which I already love), I was able to convert it into an electric bike for about 1/5 of the price of a brand-new e-bike.

It did take me about an hour and a half to install because my carbon fork opening was too small, so i had to shave off some of the inside metal first to make the wheel slide in. I also spray painted the silver stripe on the wheel before install to make it match the all black wheel design on my bike.

On my first ride, I only used about 30% pedal assist and covered 10 miles, ending the ride with just 18% of my battery used. That’s impressive efficiency. I even tackled a couple of steep hills using just the throttle—without ever shifting out of the highest gear—and it handled them with ease.

Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the E-Switch2 kit. It performs beautifully, is cost-effective, and lets me keep riding the bike I already know and love. I hope this review helps anyone considering making the switch—it’s absolutely worth it!

Easy install - 1 hour for me (had to play around with # of washers (included) needed to create space so the motor does not rub on the forks, add the disc brake and ensure not rubbing on break pads, install the battery & run the wires with zip ties, remove grip/hand brake/gear shifter to put LCD display on handle bar, swap in a mountain bike tire). LCD app setup is easy, gyro calibration being most important. Take your time!
Riding - I live in a very hilly neighborhood and weigh 200lb, so was concerned eswitchy2 would be powerful enough. After my first ride, at 50% pedal assist and use of the throttle on occasion, eswitchy2 provided the right amount of boost to easily ride up the steepest hill at 15mph. Should provide me with fun, longer bike rides in the future.

First I would like to note E-Switchy team's responsiveness. Quick and precise answers give you a confidence in the product quality before you buy.

Overall, the kit does exactly what I expected it to do for me. I keep my hybrid bike which I use for both commute and exercise, and I get an assist when I need it. This is not one of those powerful e-bikes that are essentially electric motorcycles which propel you to 30+ mph. I still need to pedal in most cases which is exactly how I wanted it.

All the parts have a feel of a quality product and it looks good on the bike too, in my opinion.

Hopefully these points will be useful for those still thinking.

1. Kit includes everything you need to install it. Even extra washers and zip ties. There is an installation video, which is not confusing at all.

2. Installation. Theoretically yes, it can be installed in 5 minutes if this is your second conversion kit and you have done it before, and you want to prove the point. But reserve at least an hour or two.
In my case the fork was not 100% compliant to the specs defined on the site. 4" at the axle, and 3 1/4" at the top line. In my email conversation with E-Switchy team they assured me that this should still work if I add a few more washers (included in the kit). They were right.

3. Speed. On a flat surface with 60% assist and minimal pedaling I get 18 mph without breaking a sweat. Full throttle can propel me at this speed without pedaling (more or less). At the same 60% assist and pedaling with significant effort I travel at 22-23 mph.

4. Range. My commute is 11 miles roundtrip with 400ft elevation gain over a ~mile at the end of the trip. I clear steep sections of my trip using full throttle, then fall back to 60% assist. When I put battery to charge, it shows 75%. Which is awesome for my use. I can see how 37 miles range is realistic for this kit (Switch 2) depending on your terrain and your own effort.

I have been wanting to convert my mountain bike for quite awhile but the kits all looked so complicated. Then I found e-switch! It was easy to install and works great! Now I feel confident to tackle the hills around me and live to tell the tale

Overall the product is quite good, definitely transformational for the experience.

A few ideas: offer the wheel w/o tire (I had to get a new tire as the tire was too big for my bike). Offer locking bolts for the wheel to mitigate theft risk.

Took about 5 mins to install.
Mounting the battery and zip tying a bit more maybe an hour total.
Wife loves it she has a bad knee and some of the hills had her struggling but now she just giggles and out climbs me!!!

I’ve fallen in love with my old Cannondale dirt bike all over again after upgrading the front wheel to the Switch2. The ride feels smoother and more responsive. The installation wasn’t quite as straightforward as advertised—mainly because I had to readjust the front brakes due to the Switch2 being slightly smaller than my original wheel.

The one downside is the customer support. They don’t seem to respond to emails, especially if you haven’t left a product review. That was disappointing, but overall, the performance upgrade made it worth the hassle.

Super simple process two wires to convert and the handlebar Bluetooth speed control is the cherry on top!! Awesome product in every way. Turned my 3-Wheel Schwinn Meridian into a sweet E-Cruiser for my to enjoy around my lakefront community.

This front E SWITCHY KIT is the best for multipurpose and fun!!!!!

We used the e-switchy 3 to upgrade an older mountain bike we own. It was totally worth the price. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have the benefits of an electric bike without the high cost. It’s fast and fun!

After converting my bicycle to electric assist using the switch 1 front wheel kit, it performs very well. I'm really pleased with its performance. On uphill grades it will assist your pedaling just like you were on flat ground. I'm glad I made the choice to get the switch 1 kit.

Based on recommendations from various sources including a thread on Reddit, I decided to purchase the Switch One for my Giant hybrid bike. Although this wheel with its wireless controller would easily be a 5-10 minute job to install, my particular bicycle presented a few 'unique' issues with fork spacing, or should I say a set of extra-wide fork shock housings.

After struggling to get the wheel to drop into the fork, I was able to consult with E-Switchy through opening up an e-mail support request and get the kit installed.

So... Here are the plusses:

1. E-Mail support responded very quickly, and we worked through my issue until it was resolved! One of the absolute BEST support mechanisms I've ever encountered!!! 11 out of 10!
2. You may have to install the locking washer between the fork and wheel to provide the extra space I needed in my case... And yes, E-Switchy signed off on that!
3. There's a spacer that sits between the wheel and the disc brake they provide. In my case, I had to remove that spacer, and use the shorter screws to 'move' the disc away from the fork to prevent rubbing. Although not preferred, it too was an acceptable 'modification' that allowed me to get the wheel into my fork without issue.

Now for the challenging part. The remote control with the thumb throttle takes up a lot of real estate on your handlebar. This was a challenge for me because my 9-speed gear change mechanism is a dual-lever system (up/down shifts) and the throttle lever was impacted by the placement. Perhaps a re-design of the throttle to be a thumb button on the rotating throttle collar would avoid this issue!.

Ultimately, I got everything working and in-place where I can comfortably use it... let's just say I'm very happy with the solution, even if it take a little bit of extra work on my part!

I think the biggest takeaway is that this company goes above and beyond to support their product, and for that I give my highest recommendations and respect!

Thoroughly impressed with the engineering that went into this product. The kit includes everything you could possibly need for installation (including zip ties). The initial spin around the block was thoroughly satisfying. Unfortunately, the documentation is lacking with numerous typos. Their web site takes you to various scattered YouTube videos, each containing different pieces of (very good) information. The name of the setup app is not included in any of printed information. That being said, customer service was excellent and I’m very satisfied with the product so far. The battery in the Switch 2 is cleverly shaped like a large water bottle. The overall effect is the kit is designed to NOT look like an e-bike. Unfortunately, the battery would not fit on my wife’s bike (my fault), so I had to bolt it onto a rear bike rack. It still worked fine.

I installed the switch three kit on my tandem bike. I made a simple bracket to mount the battery to one of the three water bottle mounts on the bike. My wife and I are a senior couple so it makes the hills easier for us. I think it works great.

Nothing else beats this amazing conversion kits. I am heavyweight, pulling cargo and do a good amount of uphill. Works like a champ!

We used this setup for burning man. Worked flawlessly. The bike it a citizen Miami folding bike. We pulled the fork apart a little with our hands and added the included washers. In 10 mins we had a fully function electric bike that works like a charm, plus even with the e switchy the bike is still way lighter than a normal ebike, and it folds. Very pleased with this purchase. Considering getting a second one for next year.

Thank you very much for your product , the S2. So, now I can happily be with my bike back on the road after many years that I could not bike it due to many hills around. I am no longer worried of the hills at all. I am so happy for that. I had a little trouble to install to my bike which is a race bike. But, the customer service did give me some good tips and after doing a research, I was able to install it. I can not describe enough how good this S2 is. It saves me thousands of dollars to buy a new racing electric bike.
